IMPORTANT TIPS FOR OPTIMAL CHARGING:

  • If your iPod® battery is dead, it could take several minutes to recharge the iPod in order for it to be operational. The best results can be achieved by connecting the iTurbo at the first indication of a low battery.
  • The iTurbo can provide a quick charge in just a few minutes, a more efficient charge can be achieved if the iTurbo is allowed to charge uninterrupted (iPod® off) for 30-40 minutes.
  • When the blue light goes out disconnect the iTurbo immediately and replace the "AA" battery
  • Do NOT leave the iTurbo connected over night.
  • Replace "AA" battery if blue light fails to illuminate.
  • Video iPods will operate more efficiently with a lithium battery.
  • When in use, the iTurbo may feel very warm to the touch. This is normal and indicates the iTurbo is working at maximum efficiency.
  • If your iPod is not charging, simply re-set your iPod by following Apple's instructions.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE:

In the unlikely event that your iTurbo damages your iPod battery at anytime, we will replace your iPod battery free of charge. This lifetime guarantee is activated when you mail in the registration card.

Frequently Asked Questions:

The iTurbo becomes very warm when I power my iPod®.

It is normal for the unit to become warm while charging/powering an iPod. The iTurbo is designed to provide a lot of power in a short period of time. AA batteries generate heat when providing power. The faster the power is drained from a “AA” battery the more heat it will produce. The rate at which the unit draws power from “AA” batteries is within the specified limits of “AA” batteries. The unit has been tested under various conditions and with various batteries.

The instructions say that the blue light will stay on while charging my iPod® but it is flashing.

If your iPod shows that it is charging then there is nothing to worry about. The iTurbo is functioning properly.

The blue light did not turn on when I plugged the iTurbo into my iPod®.

Remove the adapter from your iPod® and unplug it from the iTurbo. Replace the battery with a fresh AA battery. Plug the adapter back into the iTurbo and plug it back into the iPod®.
